My name is Carey Wacker and I am The Scissor Whisperer, the artist, craftsman behind Tokyo Scissors – Wisconsin.

My Experience
I spent over 20 years as a cosmetologist and owner of a salon. Throughout those years, I learned not only the importance of using high quality shears to provide for my clients the service they deserve, but also the value of regular maintenance of my shears.
Just like caring for YOUR clients, the careful practice of returning shears to a state of peak performance requires delicate skill and patience. I spend time and attention on deciphering exactly what a scissor needs. Every set is unique—and I strive to provide the very best in caring for your shears.
For the last 20 years, I have been forming relationships with salons and stylists across the state. In those years, I have sharpened and maintained thousands of shears, returning them to their owners looking and feeling refreshed and ready to perform.
