Scissor/Shear Sharpening – $30.00 each
Sharpening a scissor/shear requires more than making it sharp. It involves bringing the whole working tool back to the specifications that were originally designed to work correctly. This includes: Making a sharp cutting edge, Blade alignment, Balance of scissor/shear, Tension adjustment.
Parts that need replacing will cost extra:
Bumper or stopper = $1.00 each
Finger sizers or inserts = $1.00 each
Finger tang for pinky finger = $6.00 each
You can set up a time and we will come and pick up your scissors/shear. If you need to use a loaner while yours is being serviced we have a great selection and can fit you with one to use. Most times we will have your scissor/shear overnight and will return it the next day.
